PReS Suite

The PReS Suite is a scalable composition solution that handles highly complex transactional documents, such as account statements, as well as event-triggered correspondence applications. Within an enterprise environment, it can be easily integrated with existing business processes via WebDirect to provide seamless document automation with mutli-channel output including print, fax, sms, email, and archiving.

Scalability for Web Collaboration. PReS templates can be managed with WebDirect enabling business users to add and revise content for defined message blocks, including the specification of conditional logic, and utilize extensive collaboration and workflow capabilities..

Enhanced PReS Designer. Newly enhanced PReS Designer application makes designing templates an easy process with intuitive graphical user interface. New usability features include ablity to enter custom code via interface, and the ability to create and save re-usable objects. After creating and formatting a group of objects in one document, the user can save the group as a re-usable object making it available for use in other documents. The re-usable object retains variable and formatting definitions as well as layout positioning data. 

Support for hightly complex documents. Production department users hve extreme granular control over all aspects of automated document personalization. Powerful PReS Designer templates are extensible with direct coding for fine-tuning.

Sophisticated variable content rules. Document content can be highly personalized based on conditional logic and can include any number of variable elements including data fields, text blocks, and variable images.

White space management. PReS templates feature "bands" on the layout that allow for sophisticated intelligent sizing of promotional messages and other personalized content based on the amount of available space on the document. Variable elements can also be deemed either mandatory or optional enabling the most effective use of the space available on each page of every document.

Dynamic document features. PReS provides numerous features to support highly dynamic documents including master templates, dynamic charts and graphs, and variable-length document support, and support for mathematical functions such as number sequencing, modulus calculation and scaling for dynamic graphics.

Scalability for enterprise integration. Composition system can be integrated with enterprise BPM and CRM systems offering event-triggered document composition, preview and routing seamless with enterprise business processes.

Wide range of data import sources. Accepted data inport sources include: binary files, text and .csv files, Excel files, Access, SQL, and ODBC-compliant databases, and XML.

Supports all major production printer output formats. Supported output formats include: PostScript (Non-optimized and optimized), PDF, PDF-A, PCL, PPML, VIPP, AFP/IPDS, IJPDS, XML, Metacode.

Multi-channel output options– email, fax, web, archive. Whether to meet enterprise requirements or suit the preferences of customers, you can configure the routing, output and delivery methods. PReS supports email of composed documents as attachments as well as direct HTML output for email and web presentment.
